He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene "MarMar" Daily Ayers; his brother Bobby Ayers (Carolyn); and his parents, Nelson Ayers and Lavenia Bryant Ayers. He is survived by: his children, Gina Ayers (Mike), Allison Ayers Weaver (Derek), Kelly Ayers Owen (Ben), Allan Walker (April), Amber Walker Crews (Seth) and Adamm Walker (Victoria); his brother David Ayers; his grandchildren, Matthew Edger, Hunter Edger (Leanna), Will Weaver, Lee Ellis, Ryan Owen, Shelby Sweetwood (Cullen), Jacob Walker, Caleb Murphy, Jackson, Gavin Crews and Sam Walker; his nephews, Brad Ayers (Shawn), Brooks Ayers (Christy) and Jayson Ayers (Wendy); his niece Tonya Ayers Cosby (Doug); and his pet Skipper.
