He was predeceased by: his father Larry Kent Peden, Sr.; his wife Tina Peden; his brother Larry Kent Peden, Jr.; and his stepfather John Myrick. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Myrick; his sons, Steven Peden (Lydia Vines), James Daniels (Suzan) and Matthew Daniels (Jessica); and his siblings, Rod Peden (Tina), Robin Myrick (Rhonda), Andrew Myrick (Kim), Katrina Matthews (Brian), Dawn Hicks (Steve) and Sabrina Brown (Steve). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
