He was predeceased by: his father Hosie Clingan, Jr.; his grandparents, Carrell, Ruby James, William and Elora Clingan; and his stepfather W. C. Wilson.
He is survived by: his mother Peggy Clingan Wilson; his children, Nicole Dowdy (Jamie) and Corey Clingan; his brother Rodney Clingan (Amy); his stepsiblings, Gary Wilson (Liz), Kenny Wilson (Deanna), Jeff Wilson (Amy Lynn), Debbie Malone (Jimmy) and Carla Sibley (Carlos); and his grandchildren, Olivia Clingan, Emaleigh Clingan and Laudie Mae Dowdy. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia (825 N Main St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Parkview Baptist Church Building Fund.
