We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 91, Mary Kate Mayfield of Tuscumbia, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude, Mt Moriah Baptist Church, or your favorite church or charity.
