She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Alexander and Irene Alexander; her daughter Sharlie Turpin; and her husband Mark Sides. She is survived by: her children, Chris Dodd (Jennifer) and Beth Lawler (Collins); her siblings, Maurice Alexander (Debra) and Pamla Whiteside (Philip); her grandchildren, Annie Sherrod (Jeffrey), Christopher Dodd (Bella), Tory Turpin, Abby Wellington (Dayton), Mikelyn Fredrick (Aiden), Sophie Jamerson, Alexandria Dodd, Lyndsay Tramontono, Lanny Turpin, Patton Dodd, Bentley Dodd, Gabriel Lawler, Harrison Lawler and Sharlie Dawn Dodd; and her great grandchildren, Amarah Grissom, Alexander Miles, Jenesis Sherrod and Bexley Dodd.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valdosta Church of Christ (1119 Old Lee Hwy, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Family Home.
