He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart VanEaton and Annie Lou VanEaton. He is survived by: his wife Deborah VanEaton; his children, Anna Blumberg (Mike), Dr. Alex Lebrija (Cali), Mack VanEaton, Terri Downing and Tim VanEaton; and his brother Richard VanEaton (Sandra). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of The Shoals Catholic Church, 200 East Commons Street, North, Tuscumbia, AL, or Father Flanagan's Boys Town.
