He is survived by: his wife Sandra Schimmelpfennig of Harvest, AL; his sisters, Ursala Stoll and Edeltraut Kipp; and his sisters-in-law, Heidi Schimmelpfennig and Carolyn Kennedy Mathis (Ron) of Prattville, AL. He is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
