He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Lee and Inez Bishop; his wife Judy Bishop; and his brothers, David Allen Bishop and Paul Anthony Bishop.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian Bishop and Britt Bishop (Amy); his siblings, Willis O'Neal Bishop, Bobby Bishop (Kathy) and Christine Henry; and his grandchildren, Caroline Sockwell (Tate) and Jacob Bishop. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
