It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dessie Tidwell (Tuscumbia, Alabama), who passed away on February 9, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry "Pete" Tidwell; her parents, Abraham Jackson and Mary Jackson; her siblings, Gene, Grady, Clayton, Junior, Marie and Nell; and her grandson Jason Tidwell.

She is survived by: her children, Jessie Tidwell (Patsy), Horace Tidwell, Wendel Tidwell, Rachel Kuecker (Jerry), Shirley Schneider (Butch), Dessie Pickens and Rebecca Lee (Kenneth); and her sister Maggie Jane. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
