She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ross Vandiver Jr.; her parents, Bessie Aldean and Carrol Hughes; her children, Sheri Vandiver and Mark Vandiver; her brother Tom Hughes; her uncle Tom; and her aunt Mary Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Vandiver (Stefanie) and Teri Malone; her grandchildren, Justin Hines (Tabitha), Matt Vandiver, Chasity Cable (Troy), Cody Vandiver, Heather Malone, Alana Green (Josh), Emily Thompson (Albert), Haley Malone and James Ross Vandiver; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Kirby, Joyce Andrews and Jan Hughes. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
