Carl Goike Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2022, at the age of 97, Carl Goike Thompson of Tuscumbia, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Newman Thompson; his children, Joseph, Timothy Thompson and Constance Thompson; and his grandchildren, Curtis Ray Young, Courtney Paige Thompson and Laura Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Thompson of Tuscumbia, Tom Thompson of Michie, TN, Mike Thompson (Sandra) of Tuscumbia, Mary Thompson of Leesburg, GA and Anne Thompson Cain (Randall) of Huntsville, AL; and his brother David "Spider" Thompson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's or the Alzheimer's Association.
