She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harris and Effie Harris (Morgan); her son Bernard Newell; and her granddaughter Tiffany Thrasher. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Karrison (Louis), Karen Thrasher (Thomas) and Misty King (Heath); and her daughter-in-law Linda Newell. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
