He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Janette Dunn; his parents, Melvin Dunn and Mary Haynes Dunn; and his siblings, Howard Dunn, Nelson Dunn and Robbie Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Benny Ethan Dunn, Jr. (Janet), Gene McDougal (Margaret), Dewayne McDougal (Lisa), Alicia Baker (Brian) and Angela Smith; his sister Mary Nell Warren (Joe); and his grandchildren, Christopher McBride, Carly Lenz, Nicholas Baker, Josh McDougal, Anthony Baker, Cameron Dahm, Eugene McDougal, Jonathan McDougal, Ethan Dunn and Mary Hyde. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
