He was predeceased by: his wife Maurine "Bunny" Braswell Abrams; his daughter Mary Maurine Abrams; his parents, Abner Alonzo Abrams Sr. and Daisy Cobb Abrams; and his siblings, Abner Jr., Lawrence, Dawson, Ola Mae, Eloise and Daisy.
He is survived by: his son Mark Neilson Abrams; his grandson Christopher Jacob Church; and his brothers, Charles and Melvin Abrams. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
