With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Griffin in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth D. "Cat" Griffin; her parents, William Crump and Carrie Crump of Samantha, AL; and her siblings, William "Billy" Crump, Signa Deal and Wilda Rice.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheilah K. Griffin (Bob) of Cartersville, GA and LaJuana Griffin Philpot (Brian) of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Kayla Rae Minor and Dylan Griffin Minor of Birmingham, AL; her great grandchild Aubree Mariah Minor of Birmingham, AL.; her niece Carolyn Rutner; and her caregiver Donna Babb.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
