Payne (Tuscaloosa, Alabama), born in Greensboro, Alabama, who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace E. Payne, Sr.; her parents, Charlie Cole and Maggie Cole; and her siblings, Elsie Cole, Miriam Green, Neil Cole, Ivy Cole, Harry Cole and Phillip Cole.
She is survived by: her daughter Pat Yawn (Richard); her grandmother Lathum; and her son Wallace E. Payne, Jr. (Ronna). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Amedysis Hospice and employees of Moundville Health and Rehabilitation, L.L.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Five Mile Primitive Baptist Church.
