He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus King and Alma King; and his sister June Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McCluskey King; his children, Leigh Ann Pool, Kathy Chandler, Tim King (Carla), Johnny King (Sonya) and Scotty King (Leah); his sister Nell Gray; and his grandchildren, Wesley King, Jacob King (Jessica), Dalton King (Abigail), RaeAnn King, Caroline King, Brooke Hastings (Jordan) and Ken Ryan.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Crestline Baptist Church.
