He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Green Tant and Catherine Pratt Tant; his brother Joseph Edward Tant Sr.; and his nephew Joseph Edward Tant Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Haley McCrory Tant; his sons, Christopher Tant (Laurie) and Wesley Tant (Tiffany); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Ann-Marie and Kade.
