He was predeceased by: his brother Garry; and his parents, Martha and Willis. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his daughter Kat; his sister Deborah Dean (Robert); and his nieces and nephews, Andy Beidler (Kim), Chris Beidler (Lisa), Phoebe Lenhart (Scott), Cooper Dean (Mai), Julia Anne Eddins, Will Eddins and Ellen Marie Eddins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Georgia-Alabama Land Trust to help preserve Phil's beloved, adopted, home state of Alabama.
