With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phil Avritt of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, born in Pine Hill, Alabama, who passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 59. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phil Avritt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dannie Avritt and Mabel Campbell Avritt. He is survived by: his children, Madison Avritt, Hannah Avritt and Wesley Avritt; his grandchildren, Jase Gant and Cade Avritt; his brothers, Rex Avritt, Camden and Kevin Avritt of Pine Hill, AL; and his close friend Cira Woolbright. He is also survived by nieces, cousins, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Welcome Center (200 Bryce Lawn Dr, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Philip Avritt.
