She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Richards and Mary Nell Richards; her husband Cleborn Watkins, Jr.; her son William Matthew Watkins; and her siblings, Teresa Johnson and Elvis Ray Richards.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Michelle Scruggs (Doug), Schobie Melaine Lane (Donald), Angel Renee Jackson (Kevin) and Anthony Scott Watkins (Jennifer); her brother Michael Lee Richards; her grandchildren, Brandi Smith, Brittany Collins, Deuce McCurley, Timothy Hewgley, Johnathan Hewgley, James Hewgley, Brandon Patterson, Renee Jackson, Dewayne Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Aaron McGee and Devin Hathcock; and her great grandchildren, Nick, Joseph, Kaiden, Bayleigh, Lakota, Eugene, Tre'yveon, Ande, Lavito, Emma, Valerie, Olivia, Riley, Desiree and Carter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Chapel North (4905 AL-69, Northport, AL 35473). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (9308 Co Rd 26, Berry, AL 35542).
