As Genevieve Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Genevieve Ann. Though Genevieve Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Augustus and Judith Margaret Horak Wenzel; her husband Berry Lee McDavid, Jr.; her daughter Laurie Kornegay; and her brother Donald Wenzel.
She is survived by: her children, Berry McDavid, III, Andrew McDavid (Melissa), Mary McDavid, Anne Bell (Gregg) and Amy Laughbaum (Kevin); and her siblings, Deborah Riha, George Wenzel and Casper Wenzel.
