He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Butler Williams and Ernest Going Williams. He is survived by: his wife Frances Fulton Williams; his children, Christopher "Gentry" Williams (Kimber) and Mary Ford Williams; his grandchild Sweden Camille Williams; his stepdaughter Francie Galbraith Vancil (Joey); his stepgranddaughter Leah; his stepson Locke Fulton Galbraith; his siblings, Turner Butler Williams (Libba) and Cece Williams Hartley (Kenny); and his granddaughter Saylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (900 Greensboro Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to The DCH Foundation, The Ernest G. And Cecil B. Williams Endowment Fund at the University of Alabama, or a charity of your choice.
