She was predeceased by: her husband James Edwards; her parents, Thomas M. Scott and Naomi B. Scott; and her siblings, Virginia Scott Mc Vay, Harry M. Scott and Wilma Scott Greene.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Edwards Allen (Joby Sanford), Richard Edwards (Sally), Linda Dockery and Mark Edwards (Tina); and her grandchildren, Marial Edwards-Gavauns (Joseph), Richard Edwards (Gwen), Erica Dockery, James Edwards and Jason Edwards (Savannah). She is also survived by six great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama in Ellen's honor.
