She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John Francis Burnum; her parents, Aurelius Augustus and Dorothy Monnish Evans; her siblings, Frederick Aurelius Evans, John Wynne Evans and Lillian Carol Crowe; and her daughter Susan Burnum Wade (Jim Burford).
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Celeste (Lessie) and Frances Griffin; her brother Harry Evans; her grandchild Thomas Parker Griffin, Jr. (Kristi); her great grandchildren, Thomas and Nora; her grandchildren, Celeste Griffin Krishna (Shiva), Neil Monnish Griffin (Evelyn) and John Williford Wade (Nikki); and her great grandchildren, Jack and Lillian.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Blue House (4 Monnish Dr, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401).
