We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025, at the age of 83, Bertha Mannning Clay of Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carvin Manning and Dorothy Manning; her husband Leon Clay; and her brother Jerry Manning. She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Pearson (Billy) and Michelle Hallman (Scott); her sister Gail Kimbrell of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Meredith Pearson, Matt Hallman (Vicki) and Ashley Hallman; and her great grandchildren, Noah Hallman and Eli Fields.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). She and her husband Leon were members of First Assembly of God until his death from covid.
