We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2024, at the age of 81, Averil Townsley in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, born in Gainesville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Dean and Averil Dean; and her husband Tyler Townsley. She is survived by: her children, Dean Townsley (Lara) and Tyrenè Townsley; and her grandsons, Nathaniel and Aidan Townsley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mulberry United Methodist Church or Girl Scouts of West Central Florida.
