She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Curry and Alice Roebuck Williams; her husband James Ware Cox, Jr.; her son James Ware Cox III (Jim); her son-in-law Dr. David Harding; and her sister-in-law Sara Cox Spiller (Jack).
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Cox Spiller (Mike) and Cynthia Cox Harding; her brother Manly N. Williams (Wilma); her daughter-in-law Tina Cox; and her grandchildren, Michael Shane Spiller (Emily), Alice Paige Spiller, David Christopher Harding (Kimberly), Joseph Keaton Harding (Rebecca Jane), James Ware Cox IV (Kelly) and John Hans Poulsen Cox (Sarah). She is also survived by twelve great grand children, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Taylorville Methodist Church (640 Bear Creek Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
