He is survived by: his children, Diana Brewer Lindsey (Adam) and Michael David Brewer (Tiffaney); his grandchildren, Rosaleigh Teagan Lindsey and Miles Hicks Brewer; his former wife Hope Whitson (Bill); and his cousin W. G. "Dag" McReynolds (Dedy).
