It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Daugherty of Trussville, Alabama, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard Jerrell Daugherty; his brother Russell Lee Daugherty; and his uncles, David and Sonny Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Daugherty Sweatman and Christopher William O'Neal; his mother Judith Shrader; his wife Alesia Daugherty; his son Justin Daugherty; and his grandchildren, Kaden O'Neal, Jax Sweatman and Jolene Sweatman.

There were a few key people that helped develop my knowledge, Jeff was one of them. Always there to help, answer questions, or catch up with going down the road.
