Myra Holland Obituary

We bid farewell to Myra Holland of Trussville, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 31, 2025 at the age of 93. Myra touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Myra's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Myra has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Brown and Emily Brown; her husband Henry Sam Holland; and her sisters, Mary Ellen Mammoser and Carolyn Amanda Burkett.

She is survived by: her children, Sam Holland (Becky) and Terry Schlitz (Randy); her grandchildren, Tyler Holland (Caylan), Casey Holland, Ryne Schlitz (Caylen) and Lane Fortenberry (Richie); and her sister Tamara Linda Bishop. She is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Rideout's Trussville Chapel. A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens East (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235).
