She was predeceased by: her husband Hardy Oakes; her sons, Darryl Hugh Oakes and Larry Wayne Oakes; her parents, Ira Harvey Williams and Ollie Bell Henley Williams; and her siblings, Marcelle Williams Zeller, Harvey Deshay Williams, James Paul Williams Sr., W. C. Williams (Mike) and Ira Lynn Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Oakes Justice (Barry) and Daryl Alan Oakes (Dana); and her grandchildren, Austin Justice (Taylor), Alec Justice (Riley-Kate), Anna Leigh Justice (Heath Horn), Angie Oakes Watts (Chad), Jason Oakes, Lara Oakes Wood (Tyler), Bethany Oakes, Madison Oakes Redd (Derek), DJ Oakes (Lydi), Gavin Oakes, Jaden Oakes and Brooklyn Oakes. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
