With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Theresa Aguirre of Trussville, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria Theresa left this world on February 12, 2025 at the age of 41, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her sister Aileen Aguirre Drummonds; her grandparents, Rosine, Constantino Aguirre, Violeta and Fernando Gancayco; her aunt Shirley Harrison; and her uncle John Sanders.
She is survived by: her son Maddox Aguirre; her parents, Maria Olivia Gancayco and Paul Aguirre (Diane Wise); and her siblings, P. J. Aguirre (Amy) and Stephanie Aguirre. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church (2 Xavier Cir, Birmingham, AL 35213).
