It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Oddest Moore of Trussville, Alabama, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Moore and Frances Elizabeth Martin Moore; and his siblings, James Moore (Buck), Joe Moore, Ralph Moore and Dorothy Findley.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Dianne Hill Moore; his children, Kristi Long (Darrell) and Chad Moore (Misty) of Trussville; his grandchildren, Logan Long, Webber Long, Hopkins Long, Jonathan Moore, David Moore, Jacob Moore and Sara Moore; his brothers, Mel Moore (Betty) and Vic Moore; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Findley and Beverly Waldrop. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the student ministry of First Baptist Church of Alexander City and the student ministry of First Baptist Church of Trussville.
