He is survived by: his children, Anne Buckner and John McGrath (Holly); his grandchildren, Allison Buckner, Kelly Patterson (Hodge), Caylee Irving (Kellen) and Brandon McGrath; and his great grandchildren, Hodge Patterson V, Mack Patterson, Colton Irving and Camden Irving.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens East (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235).
