She was predeceased by: her husbands, James S. Parsons and Woodrow Wilson Jordan; her parents, Lattie Van Buren and Jim Allene Snow; her son Van Parson; and her siblings, Alice Mundon and Nick Brittingham.
She is survived by: her daughter Kriste Lytle (Billy); her daughter-in-law Laurie Parson; her grandchildren, Allison Carrell (Brad), Lauren Barnett (Ryan), Jennie Veitch (David), Kimi Wehby (CJ) and Amanda Martin (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Della Grace, Will, Jacks, Barrett, Lola, Tensley, Kaylea, John David, Michael, Luna and Alora; and her brother Alton "Ber" Snow (Marsha).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
