It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Nichols of Trussville, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Nichols; and her parents, Arthur Bruns and Lilaoise Bruns. She is survived by: her sister Carol Hagmaier; her children, Marsha Jarrell (Todd), Brad Bullock (Stephanie) and Brittany Culp (Robin); her grandchildren, Kelsie, Jayson, Logan, Hannah, Landon and Hayden; and her great grandchild Lawson (Jan Paul Hawkins).

“I loved Janet to pieces. I worked with her at Vision America and she made going to work so much fun. We worked hard but laughed harder. My favorite thing she ever did in the office was sing in the fan and usually it was the song Ruby and her voice would vibrate all over the place. She loved her children more than anybody I knew. She talked about them all the time. Everybody loved her. What a wonderful person and she will be missed. Don't forget your mascara, blush and lipstick. I love you. Arlen”
