She was predeceased by: her husband G. W. Whitfield; and her parents, Horace Gomer and Grace Gomer. She is survived by: her children, Tina Echols (Randy), Darlene Caudle (Larry), Wanda Bullard (David) and Glenn Whitfield (Robin); and her siblings, Carolyn Pierce, Jean Jones and Johnny Gomer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
