With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara L. Newton of Trussville, Alabama, who passed away on April 17, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James T. Newton; her son Rodney Newton; her parents, Alma Roper and Ed Roper; her sisters, Florabelle Allen, Emma G. Bridge, Helen Sims and Louise Moore; her grandson Dave Berry; and her children-in-law, Sharon Faye Newton and Marshall Berry.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Berry and James T. Newton Jr.; her siblings, Ed Roper and Margaret Sims; her grandchildren, James T. Newton III (Jamie), Jeremy Newton (Kara), Christopher (Chris), Chanina Berry, Brittni Farris (Kevin), Kevin Newton (Cassie) and Logan Newton; her daughter-in-law Shela Newton; her granddaughter-in-law Milissa Berry; and her great grandchildren, Cambryn Oniszko, Jasmine Berry, Keelan Oniszko, Tommy Newton, Haley Berry, Hudson Farris, Landon Farris, Brindley Newton and Isabelle Newton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
