She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Parrish and Althea Parrish; her siblings, Irene Davis (Lucius), Douglas Parrish (Sibyl), Nettie Freeman (Buford) and Dayton Parrish; and her granddaughter Hope Elise Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband James L. Gilbert; her daughters, Sandra Roberts (Mike) and Susan Johnson (Cortney); her grandchildren, Lacey, Kyle Roberts (Mary) and Logan Johnson (Natalie); and her great grandchildren, Leighton Johnson, Nate Johnson, Oliver, Charlie Johnson, Melrose Roberts and Jonah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
