He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrew B. Howard and Elma Mae Howard; his sisters, Ina Fay Howard Lablanc and Beverly Ann Howard; and his children, Amy Marie Phillips, Susan Denise Mickle and Tommy Mickle (Louise Howard).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Vincent Howard; his siblings, Connie Zortman (Steve), Ervil Howard (Marie) and Donald Terrell Howard (Shelby); and his pets, Sam and Jack. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org.
