It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Turner (Troy, Alabama), who passed away on March 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Watkins and Esther Bullock Watkins; her siblings, Carolyn Shehee, W. C. Watkins, Joel Watkins and Ann Johnson; her nephew Jeff Watkins; and her great-niece Haley Flowers.
She is survived by: her husband James Turner of Troy; her daughters, Debbie Turner Rhodes (Charles) of Troy and Sue Turner (Kevin Swanson) of Selma, AL; her grandsons, Brent Rhodes (Ashley), Christopher Rhodes (Jenn) and Dylan Smith (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Carter Rhodes, Ella Rhodes, Turner Rhodes and Gavin Smith; her siblings, Paul Watkins (Beth), David Watkins (Robbie) and Louise Gardner (Larry); and her half-sister Julia Waltman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery Perpetual Fund, 2701 Henderson Highway, Troy, AL 36079.
