He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie B. Maddox and Nell Maddox; and his grandson Nick Sessions. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Sessions (Durwood), Craig Maddox, Beth Maddox and Scott Maddox (Emily); his grandchildren, Brooke Gandy (Malachi), Benton Maddox (Abby) and Kaylee Maddox; and his brother Dr. Frank Maddox (Teresa). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
