He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Motes Allen; his son Michael Theodore Allen; his parents, Ed Allen and Willie Belle Gibson Allen; and his sisters, Edna Brunson and Imogene Pinckard.
He is survived by: his sons, William E. Allen, Patrick Anthony Allen and James Victor Allen; and his grandchildren, Tiana Carbo Allen and Aaron Allen (Sara). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made in his honor to the Troy Shrine Club (P.O. Box 865, Troy, AL 36081).
