He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Stephens; his children, Beverly Faircloth (Ken) of Troy, Carol Stephens (Frankie Barbarow) of Andalusia and Johnny Ray Stephens of Briar Hill; his grandchildren, Joanna Johnston (David) of Germantown, MD, Audrey Faircloth (Doug Price) of Prattville, AL, John "Chip" Faircloth of Troy, Johnny Ray Stephens, Jr. of Goshen, Matt Stephens of Goshen, Gauge Ballard (Madison) of Goshen, Taylor Ballard of Panama City, FL, Sydney Ballard of Troy and Stephen Meeks of Goshen; his great grandchild Liam Ballard of Goshen; his siblings, Doug Stephens (Sara) of Shady Grove, A. B, Mike Stephens (Patricia) of Troy, Pat White (Gene) of Shellhorn, Bonnie Griffin (Mike) of Banks, Wanda Adams (Jim) of Shellhorn and Peggy Nonneman (Patrick) of Troy; and his brother-in-law Teddy Lauderdale of Lafayette, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
