He was predeceased by: his son Chandler Brian Griswold; his parents, Athol Griswold and Pearl Greathouse Griswold; and his sister Anita Griswold Otts. He is survived by: his wife Linda McMillon Griswold; his children, Robert Edward Griswold of Troy and Hope Griswold Hatfield (Randall) of Laurel Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Kyra LeAnna Hatfield, Cayden Daryl Hatfield, Robert Andrew Griswold, Brittany Allison Griswold (Brice Christian Benca), Thomas Mason Griswold and Devin Brian Griswold; his siblings, James Newman Griswold (Ruth) of Phenix City, AL, William Earl Griswold of Troy, Athol Griswold of Troy and Oline Thompson of Banks, AL; and his pets, Roxy and Brownie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
