She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Joseph Hugh Harris and Donald Wayne Shelton; and her cousin Kira Elkins. She is survived by: her daughter Payson Jade Shelton; her parents, Stephen Shelton and Misty Harris Shelton; her sister Savannah Shelton; and her grandparents, Patricia Harris, Myra and Lendell Benefield.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Payson Shelton Scholarship at Max Credit Union for the care of Taylor's daughter.
