She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Knight; her parents, Jesse Griffin and Annie Griffin; her brothers, Everett, Bill, James, Robert and Braxton Griffin; her grandson Jesse Brown; and her son-in-law Robert H. "Bobby" Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Deabron Carr (Howard), Sandra Wilkes (Steve), Patsy Scarbrough (Tommy) and Paul Knight (Joanna); and her grandchildren, Candy Brooks (Mike), Deanne Stephens (Todd), Ginger Brown, Chuck Howard and Jeffrey Knight (Erika). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
