It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Royce Stroud of Troy, Alabama, born in Goshen, Alabama, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Brian Stroud; and his parents, Vernon Stroud and Rita Folmar Stroud. He is survived by: his wife Jane Jones Stroud; his sons, Steve Stroud (Valorie) and Chris Stroud (Kaci); his grandchildren, Abbigale Stroud and Morgan Stroud; his brother Ramon Stroud (Agnes); his brother-in-law John Jones (Billie); and his close friend Willie Cowart (Sharon). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Brian Stroud Memorial Scholarship.
