She was predeceased by: her father John Richard Castleberry; and her grandparents, Sam Byrd "Bo" Reeves, Flora Sharpe Reeves, Richard Stevens Castleberry and Inez Mason Castleberry.

She is survived by: her husband Mike Meredith; her mother Sharon Reeves Castleberry; her children, Maggie, Kathyn Claflin (Garrett), Will and John Mathew; and her brothers, Steve Castleberry (Diane) and Noah Castleberry (Courtney). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
